The .Asia sunrise and landrush auctions are now in full swing and I have seen some of the craziest closing prices for .asia extensions.

ACE.ASIA went for $20,000 - okay its a 3 letter and domainers are mad for LLL so we will let that one go. yesterday wellness.asia sold via its auction and the price………$5,900. So I was expecting aaa.asia to go for $10,000, no it went for $160. How about men.asia, computers.asia and investment.asia?? They all went for a staggering $110 ( £55 ). There is plenty of money to make from the extension but I think you will have to develop every domain and would look to sell in about a year from now.

I dont think professional domainers have fully been sold on .Asia. I have purchased a number for investment purposes however I will only see a large return if the Asian countries buying into the new extension. the overwelming problem as the moment is that most of the Asia countries also have their own country domains and it seems like a hard sell at the moment
