There’s a lot of sites out there and an awful lot of people looking to attract users to their site via their specific keywords. Keywords in SEO play a huge part in bringing in viewers. Okay its a bit obvious but what do you do in regard to getting your keywords out there on the Internet and thus bringing in people to your site.

Internal SEO is the first port of call and you should always take care of it after the main content of the site has been added. believe me that people actually submit there sites to google straight after they have registered the domain

Most people do the basics: add the keywords to the meta description, meta keywords and website info settings. DO people forget to add H1 or H2 markup in the main body? if not, get on an add the markup and if should pay dividends in the long term.

Do you include your keywords in alt image tags? Is a brilliant way of giving your site more weight in google. you don’t even have to attach a jpeg. example, say your keyword is “make money online” then use this code in the main body; <img src=”logo.gif” width=”200″ height=”75″ alt=”make money online”>  This is easy stuff to miss but time and time people miss the easy tricks to get one over the competition. Another way to give weight to your keyword is adding a simple “comment” tag on your site, example; <!– make money online –> again it always is a good idea to add these simple tags to your sites to increase the importance to you are placing on them when you submit your finished site to google. A slight after though but if you add the comments and image alt tag to your site its always a good idea to add slightly more content ( text ), to your main body.
