I hear a lot about backlinks and how many links to a certain site has. Apart from site seo, off site seo is of equal and if not a more important feature of seo. A few months ago someone informed me that his site had 24,000 backlinks ( which is a lot of work btw ), I asked him what his “anchor tags” were. He informed me that he did not have any tags but just his url and a description of the site. ie: http://google.com and not search engine

A lot of  seo is the down to common sense and if google is going to find your site then it will look at your anchor tags on other sites and relate its importance to your url and “on site” seo to work out where your site should be place on google rankings. It obvious as I said but your will be surprised at how many people miss this and  just submit their sites in the worst way imagined
