just doing to usual checks on my sites in regard Pagerank etc yesterday only to find urlrequest.com is now PR4. I was amazed that in less then 2 months from a fresh domain its PR4. It must be down to activity as I have not promoted the site since i installed wordpress. I hope to hit PR5 in the next update. This is just a target for me and not a goal ( theres a difference ). A couple of years back google pagerank was important but its less so now. Traffic is king and although pagerank and traffic come hand in hand the most important varible is targetted traffic. I know a few sites with very low PR but high alexa stats. Its okay having a Pagerank of 7 but if you have zero visits it not going to bring in any income………………
